Yahoo Search is Now Powered by Bing
With Google being the current champ in the search engine kingdom, other companies face a huge mountain to climb if they want to level the playing field. Research firm comScore reported that in July, Google claimed a whopping 66 percent of the total search traffic within the United States. Trailing far behind were Yahoo and Microsoft’s Bing search engine, with 17 and 11 percent, respectively. As the saying goes, “if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em,” and that is what Yahoo and Bing have decided to do, in a way.
