Google`s Pet Scam Conspiracy - Oh Google
It seems that Google wants people to fill out the spam complaint report found here http://www.google.com/contact/spamreport.html, and they will start an investigation and take action on the sites they find in violation of their terms of services. However there is one common complaint that also seems to resound on the Internet, and that is one involving companies who spam Google and are displaying Google Ads on their spammed-out websites.
When I set out to write this article, I had thought that this was a rather novel spam attempt. But I am told that it had been done before, perhaps not to the degree that it is being done now, but it is still an old ruse.
So I thought that the tone of the article needed to change midstream, and I would like to thank a friend (you know who you are) for your hard work and research. I hope that this serves as well as it is meant. This is also for my Rottie, Lexus, and my cat, Gato, and for all my other pets.
Basically it appears that there is a conspiracy underway within the Pet Category on the Internet. This is perhaps the perfect category for this to occur in as it is one of the world’s most popular categories. Humans love their pets. So I am asking all the pet lovers out there to point all your friends and family to this article and to have them tell others. Then I want everyone to call, mail, e-mail people from Google and any politicians. This needs to get cleaned up.
Google has urged us to do no evil to make money. So now I am sure, as are the others here reading, that they would not want to do the opposite of what they preach to us to do, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
I love that Google thinks they are sort of godlike with their Google Ten Commandments. If you have never seen it, take a look at this link: http://www.google.com/corporate/tenthings.html
The part I want everyone to focus on commandment # 6
6. You can make money without doing evil.
I really like this part:
Any advertiser, no matter how small or how large, can take advantage of this highly targeted medium, whether through our self-service advertising program that puts ads online within minutes, or with the assistance of a Google advertising representative.
Can "take advantage"....mmmmmm conjures up some different ideas for many people. I like to take advantage by following what Google says to help my clients get their websites listed on Google’s front pages. And I am pretty sure that is what they meant by taking advantage. Do the right thing, so to speak.
Well there are a group of businesses taking advantage of Google. Or are there? Perhaps Google follows another commandment, the one about after being struck to turn the other cheek. However I think they may have misunderstood. Sergy and Brin, listen to this. It's not when you’re struck by gold and good fortune that you need to turn the other cheek to the method cheats who are bringing you such wealth. You seem to contradict yourself; don't worry, you're not alone. But guys, you need to stop. You've been told repeatedly about scamming companies, yet you refuse to remove them. As a matter of fact, you have even come up with an excuse that those who spam the index may be allowed to stay as they also offer great content for users. Bullshit!
First, we seem to have some inconsistencies in Google’s word, whether from their website or related blogs. Dear Google, what's with this chain of junk sites? It starts here, http://puppyshop.com. Then there’s an exact dupe here, http://www.puppydogweb.com also with Google PageRank. Then there is a third, www.puppies-dogs.com, which thankfully does not have Google PR......yet. And to ice the cake and seal the deal, hat tricks are always good, but grand slams are better. I present site four (4) www.breedersofpuppies.com.
