Google`s Pet Scam Conspiracy
I have watched as the SEO experts have lined up like good little soldiers and begun cult worship of an engineer from Google, as well as his counterpart at Yahoo to some degree. It was reported over at a large whitehat/blackhat search engine conference that the Google engineer was followed around in between sessions much like Brittany Spears is mobbed when shopping.
I had not wanted things to turn out this way, but it seems I've been left no choice. I went to a forum with part of the below information and found a reception that was less than cordial. Amazingly, the denizens of this forum have shown how far we have to go before we can trust others online as we would like.
I figured I might stop by his new home on the Internet and invite him to give me a call. I wanted to talk about some very interesting things that had been brought to my attention about one of America’s favorite things, our pets. I even left my phone number to make it easy for him to call. I guess I should have tossed in “call me collect,” but I figure the guy's a Google engineer, and could spare a dime to call. It seems I was wrong. No call came. Drat!
Oh well. So much for "waiting for a friend." To get to the story, it seems Google has taken pride in their Jagger update. The only problem is there are people out there who are crying "I can't get no satisfaction." Now we all know Mick Jagger likes to strut, and even if this update isn't actually named after him, I am sure he was happy about it nonetheless. Google should stifle the stuff on the engineer's blog, as they have some explaining to do. And the status quo answers are not going to do.
Google was quick to strut their stuff with the Jagger update, as noted in the engineer's blog. They wiped out a lot of the scraper directory sites and those who bought those links. I warned everyone not to buy them in February of this year from this very podium. It seems they did a good job. While I like Google and find them easy enough to get along with when they spell everything out for you clearly, it's the times when they remain covert and unapproachable that cause me to look with an eye cringed at the boys in Mountainview.
