A Look at the SEO for Firefox Extension - Suggestions and Criticisms

In general, users have posted good reviews of SEO for Firefox. The only exception has been dealing with conflicting extensions, particularly Firefox BetterSearch 1.12 or CustomizeGoogle. If the tool works with Yahoo, but not with Google, the author suggests confirming whether you are experiencing problems with other extensions that tailor Google. If you still experience this problem, read other users’ comments on the SEO Book website. You can post your questions on that website as well.

    Other Firefox Add-Ons

You can also find other SEO add-ons. One of these tools is SEOpen. This application is designed to work with search engine optimization. You just use your mouse and right-click on the features that come with SEOpen while you are on a web page. You can also use the new toolbar. Some of the features you can use include Yahoo Backlinks, Google Backlinks, Keyword Density, Google Translate to English, and many others.

SEOpen plans to add other capabilities to this search engine optimization tool in future releases. It will feature MSN and Yahoo! cache, IP-based SEO tools, Spider Simulator, and a text browser view function.

SeoQuake is another tool you can use. This application allows you to look at multiple numbers of SEO parameters. The application contains three functional areas, including the SEOToolbar, SEOBar, and Search Engine Result Pages (SERPs). The SEOToolbar shows the parameters in a separate toolbar in the browser. You can customize the SEOBar using CSS and HTML block. SERPs show the requested parameters on search engine result pages.

The downside to using this tool is that, if you frequently use large amounts of parameters, the search engine can ban you from using it. To avoid experiencing this problem, you will need to change the proxy server and remove cookies.

There are other search engine optimization tools you can use. Although SEO for Firefox has capabilities that you will definitely need to learn, there are many other subjects you must become familiar with if you want to be successful in the search engine optimization industry. This is why you must take advantage of training. You can learn all about the SEO business. There are over 100 training modules you can learn about, including link building, pay per click marketing, site structure optimization, and others.

You will also want to subscribe to a monthly newsletter that will give you a leg up on your competitors. The SEO Blog, which gives you a lot of information pertaining to the search engine optimization world, is another good resource.

Overall, this SEO plug-in may be helpful for some, while others may find it bulky and dislike the amount of space it will take up on their web page any time they do a search. It's worth a try, though, if SEO is important to you as a webmaster (and it should be). The SEO For Firefox plug-in has been extremely popular among webmasters around the world, so it's definitely worth a look.
