The relationships of one web page to another web page are defined by the link and what each page says about itself and its relevance to the linked to page. The relationship is a 'link convention' or a web topictheme, and if we look at the specific elements involved and how they relate it would be something like Meta Title > Page Title > link anchor > link title attribute > Meta Title > Page Title > backlink anchor > backlink attribute.
Obviously to have a topical "theme" between two pages a page that links to another page, should have something in common with that first page - common parts are "titles" which pass relevancy through the link in between.
If you look at all elements as the same thing or the Meta Title, is part of the Page Title, and link anchors to other pages conjoin Meta together to make meaning ' then not only is a web site design exceptional
well for navigability and search engine ranking but also a far superior site for visitor usability.
